| TT Network Integration Asia provides an operation monitoring service that uses Trend Micro™ Expert Service
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE – January 15 , 2008 - TT Network Integration ASIA Private Limited (TTNI) and Trend Micro Incorporated (TSE: 4704) will offer a security monitoring service called TTNI End Client Service (TECS) to Japanese multinational companies operating in Asia beginning February 1, 2008 . The sales target for this service is 50 million Japanese Yen for the first year.
As Japanese businesses are actively building factories in Asia , the effective utilization of computer networks is indispensable and data system administrators are faced with the need to be flexible and prompt with incidents occurring at these facilities.
“ Most Japanese businesses today are facing the challenges of securing IT administrators who are specialized in security and are able to communicate security policies from the headquarters in Japan to their offices in Asia. Enforcement of security policies can be difficult when employees from Japan and local offices need to communicate instantly,” said Tsuyoshi Yamada, managing director of TTNI Asia Private Limited.
With the trend towards increasing compliance within Japan , the demand for security levels at overseas facilities that are equal to those at headquarters in Japan will also increase.
“ The collaboration between TTNI, a company that has a proven track record in infrastructure development and operation in Asia through its Toyota Group network and Trend Micro, a vendor specializing in security, is certainly timely,” added Tsuyoshi Yamada.
By outsourcing client computer security measures, the load on administrators relating to security is lightened, enabling them to confidently concentrate on their real work.
“We are delighted that TTNI has chosen Trend Micro's solutions and services to enhance the security level of Japanese businesses here and in other parts of Asia . We believe TTNI's foresight in utilizing a 24/7 monitoring service will ensure that crucial information distributed in the Asian region is well protected. We look forward to a rewarding partnership with TTNI,” said Akihiko Omikawa, executive vice-president of Trend Micro.
The joint security monitoring service involves the use of Trend Micro's client server security products (OfficeScan™), at the client's facility and managed remotely from the TTNI Data Center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service is based on Trend Micro's partner-oriented total consulting service (Trend Micro Expert Service) and is sold and operated by TTNI. |
